Automatic filtration of beer with kieselguhr depending on the degree of turbidity of the material to be filtered and of the electrical conductivity of the filtered material during the filtration with a sitting filter, is characterised by the turbidity measuring device being connected with the dosing machine, and with the device for determining the conductivity, the valves obtained from the latter device being used as switch obtained for both the turbidity dosing machine, and for controlling the transport of the filtered material.
