POWER-ASSISTED DUAL-PURPOSE WHEELCHAIR BED
The present invention relates to a dual-purpose wheelchair bed, and more particularly, relates to a power-assisted dual- purpose wheelchair bed.
Pregnant women and some injured patients who are not conven- ient to get up often need to lie in rehabilitation beds for recu- peration, and often need the help of others to get up when needing to get up, and cannot get up easily when there is no one around, and it is very easy to get injured accidentally in the process of getting up on their own.
Most of existing solutions can solve the above problem by hiring personal caregivers or calling caregivers by ringing a bell in a sanatorium. However, whether hiring others or living in the sanatorium will cause waste of money, resources and time.
In order to avoid problems in the process of turning over a wheelchair bed, the existing wheelchair bed is only equipped with handrails, and is equipped with no safety rail, resulting in a lack of protection during a bed form.
In view of the defects in the prior art, the objective of the present invention is to provide a power-assisted dual-purpose wheelchair bed, which may protect two sides of a user while as- sisting the user in getting up.
In order to achieve the above objective, the present inven- tion provides the following technical solution: a power-assisted dual-purpose wheelchair bed includes a bed body; an upper body plate, a hip plate, and a shank plate that are arranged on the bed body; and a turning mechanism for turning over the upper body plate and the shank plate, where a protective rail is arranged on the upper body plate, an auxiliary rail is arranged on the hip plate, a driving device for driving the auxiliary rail to recipro- cate left and right is arranged on the bed body, and the auxiliary rail is flush with the protective rail in an abutting manner when the wheelchair bed is in a state of a bed structure; and the driving device drives the auxiliary rail to move outwards and then inwards when the wheelchair bed is changed from the state of the bed structure to a state of a wheelchair structure.
To sum up, the present invention has the following beneficial effects: the protective rail on two sides is flush and fitted with the auxiliary rail when the wheelchair bed is in the state of the bed: 1, an upper body to a thigh area of a user may be effectively limited and protected; and 2, the protective rail and the auxilia- ry rail are fitted, flat and free of protrusions, such that use safety of the user and a caregiver is facilitated without pricking hands or clamping other items.
When the wheelchair bed is in transition from a form of a bed to a form of a wheelchair, a dislocation between the protective rail and the auxiliary rail is formed by means of the driving de- vice, then the upper body plate is turned over by the turning mechanism, and during turning, the protective rail does not abut against the auxiliary rail, and the auxiliary rail successfully rotates to deform, and is changed into wheelchair handles.
In addition, in view of a heavy-weight user, hands support the auxiliary rail to have an effect of assisting power when the wheelchair bed turns over, which not only may reduce working pres- sure of the turning mechanism, but also may adjust the center of gravity of the user, and has an effect of helping the user get up.
The use process is divided into two states: I, during turning from 180° of flat lying to around 140°, the auxiliary rail rises, in this case, the two hands of the user rest on the auxiliary rail, and in this case, the body of the user is not only subjected to a pushing force during turning of the upper body plate, and but also subjected to a pulling force during outward movement of the auxiliary rail, such that the center of gravity of the human body is forward, and according to direct proportion between a turning angle of the upper body plate and a rising stroke of the auxiliary rail, when the user is lying flat, the handles are straightened to hold corners of the auxiliary rail, and arms are bent while an up- per body is upright step by step along with stepwise outward move- ment of the auxiliary rail, such that the user is in an extremely- natural state of getting-up.
II, during turning from 140° of cross-standing to around 100°, the auxiliary rail moves inwards, in this case, the two hands of the user still rest on the auxiliary rail, and in this case, the body of the user is not only subjected to a pushing force during turning of the upper body plate, but also subjected to an abutting force born by abutting against the auxiliary rail, such that the center of gravity of the human body is backward to achieve a smoother effect until the auxiliary rail moves inwards to an arm-abutting position.
Similarly, when the form of the wheelchair is changed into the form of the bed, the upper body plate is turned over down- wards, and then the auxiliary rail moves inwards to complete fit- ting between the auxiliary rail and the protective rail.

The present invention will be further described in details below with reference to the accompanying drawings and the embodi- ments. The same parts are designated by the same reference numer- als. It should be noted that the words "front", "rear", "left", "right", "upper" and "lower" used in the following description re- fer to directions in the accompanying drawings, and the words "bottom surface" and "top surface", "inner" and "outer" refer to directions towards or away from the geometric center of a particu- lar component respectively.
With reference to FIGs. 1-5, in order to achieve the above objective, the present invention provides the following technical solution: a power-assisted dual-purpose wheelchair bed includes a bed body 1; an upper body plate 2, a hip plate 3, and a shank plate 4 that are arranged on the bed body 1; and a turning mecha- nism 5 for turning over the upper body plate 2 and the shank plate 4, where a protective rail 21 is arranged on the upper body plate 2, an auxiliary rail 31 is arranged on the hip plate 3, a driving device 6 for driving the auxiliary rail 31 to reciprocate left and right is arranged on the bed body 1, and the auxiliary rail 31 is flush with the protective rail 21 in an abutting manner when the wheelchair bed is in a state of a bed structure; and the driving device 6 drives the auxiliary rail 31 to move outwards and then inwards when the wheelchair bed is changed from the state of the bed structure to a state of a wheelchair struc- ture.
According to design of the present invention, the protective rail 21 on two sides is flush and fitted with the auxiliary rail 31 when the wheelchair bed is in the state of the bed: 1, an upper body to a thigh area of a user may be effectively limited and pro- tected; and 2, the protective rail 21 and the auxiliary rail 31 are fitted, flat and free of protrusions, such that use safety of the user and a caregiver is facilitated without pricking hands or clamping other items.
When the wheelchair bed is in transition from a form of a bed to a form of a wheelchair, a dislocation between the protective rail 21 and the auxiliary rail 31 is formed by means of the driv-
ing device 6, then the upper body plate 2 is turned over by the turning mechanism 5, and during turning, the protective rail 21 does not abut against the auxiliary rail 31, the auxiliary rail successfully rotates to deform, and the auxiliary rail 31 is 5 changed into wheelchair handles.
In addition, in view of a heavy-weight user, hands support the auxiliary rail 31 to have an effect of assisting power when the wheelchair bed turns over, which not only may reduce working pressure of the turning mechanism 5, but also may adjust the cen- ter of gravity of the user, and has an effect of helping the user get up.
The use process is divided into two states: I, during turning from 180° of flat lying to around 140°, the auxiliary rail 31 moves outwards, in this case, the two hands of the user rest on the auxiliary rail 31, and in this case, the body of the user is not only subjected to a pushing force during turning of the upper body plate 2, and but also subjected to a pulling force during outward movement of the auxiliary rail 31, such that the center of gravity of the human body is forward, and according to direct pro- portion between a turning angle of the upper body plate 2 and a rising stroke of the auxiliary rail 31, when the user is lying flat, the handles are straightened to hold corners of the auxilia- ry rail 31, and arms are bent while an upper body is upright step by step along with stepwise outward movement of the auxiliary rail 31, such that the user is in an extremely-natural state of get- ting-up.
II, during turning from 140° of cross-standing to around 100°, the auxiliary rail 31 moves inwards, in this case, the two hands of the user still rest on the auxiliary rail 31, and in this case, the body of the user is not only subjected to a pushing force during turning of the upper body plate 2, but also subjected to an abutting force born by abutting against the auxiliary rail 31, such that the center of gravity of the human body is backward to achieve a smoother effect until the auxiliary rail 31 moves in- wards to an arm-abutting position.
Similarly, when the form of the wheelchair is changed into the form of the bed, the upper body plate 2 is turned over down-
wards, and then the auxiliary rail 31 moves inwards to complete fitting between the auxiliary rail 31 and the protective rail 21.
The auxiliary rail 31 and the protective rail 21 are arranged in an I-shaped structure.
The auxiliary rail 31 and protective rail 21 of the I-shaped structures are designed, such that a dislocation between the aux- iliary rail and the protective rail may be conveniently formed to ensure rotation of the subsequent upper body plate 2.
The driving device 6 includes a rotary disc 61, a driving component 62, and a driving column 63 arranged on the rotary disc 61, the driving component 62 being used for driving the rotary disc 61 to rotate, one end of the driving column 63 being connect- ed to the rotary disc 61, a guide groove (64) being provided on an outer side wall of the driving column 63, and the guide groove 64 being provided in a wavy structure in an axial direction of the driving column 63 and in a circumferential direction of the driv- ing column.
The driving component 62 includes a rotary motor 621 for driving the rotary disc 61 to rotate.
An extension rod 32 is arranged on the auxiliary rail 31, one end of the extension rod 32 is connected to the auxiliary rail 31, the other end of the extension rod is slidingly connected to an interior of the guide groove 64, and the extension rod 32 recipro- cates left and right along with the guide groove 64 when the rota- ry disc 61 rotates.
Embodiment 1: when the rotary motor 621 is started, the rota- ry disc 61 rotates, in this case, the driving column 63 mounted on the rotary disc 61 rotates along with the rotary disc, and in this case, the extension rod 32 slidingly connected to an interior of the guide groove 64 moves left and right along with the guide groove 64, thereby achieving the effect of driving the auxiliary rail 31 to move left and right (move inwards and outwards). In ad- dition, since the guide groove 64 extends in a circumferential di- rection of the driving column 63 and is in the wavy structure in a radial direction of the driving column 63, the extension rod 32 moves left and right along with the guide groove 64 when the driv- ing column rotates 63.
A guide plate 33 is arranged below the bed body 1, a guide hole is provided on the guide plate 33, and the extension rod 32 passes through the guide hole.
The guide hole may be a square hole, and the extension rod 32 is not a square rod and is adapted to the guide hole, such that when moving along with the guide groove 64, the extension rod 32 only may move left and right, but may not circumferentially move along with the guide groove 64.
A linkage device 7 is arranged between the rotary disc 61 and the turning mechanism 5.
The linkage device 7 includes a driving wheel 71, a driven wheel 72, and a linkage belt 73, the driving wheel 71 meshing with the rotary disc 61, and the turning mechanism 5 includes a rotary shaft 51 arranged between the upper body plate 2 and the hip plate 3, the driven wheel 72 being arranged on the rotary shaft 51.
The rotary disc 61 is provided with a meshing area 611 and a leveling area 612 in a circumferential direction of the rotary disc, and the meshing area 611 drives the driving wheel 71 to ro- tate and the leveling area 612 does not drive the driving wheel 71 to rotate when the rotary disc 61 rotates.
Embodiment 2: by means of design of the linkage device 7, linkage control between the upper body plate 2 and the auxiliary rail 31 may be achieved, such that single-motor control is achieved, the number of wheelchair motors is reduced, the weight of the wheelchair is greatly reduced, and space utilization of the wheelchair is improved; and when the rotary motor 621 drives the rotary disc 61 to rotate, since the rotary disc 61 meshes with the driving wheel 71, the rotary disc 61 may drive the driving wheel 71 to rotate, since the driving wheel 71 is linked with the driven wheel 72 by means of the linkage belt 73, the driven wheel 72 ro- tates along with rotation of the rotary disc 61, and since the driven wheel 72 is arranged on the rotary shaft 51, the upper body plate 2 is turned over along with rotation of the driven wheel 72.
Since the rotary disc 61 includes the meshing area 611 {which has a meshing tooth area) and the leveling area 612 (which has no meshing tooth area), when the 180 ° form of the bed begins to be changed in to the form of the wheelchair, the leveling area 612 is located at an intersection area with the driving wheel 71, and in this case, rotation of the rotary disc 61 does not cause rotation of the driving wheel 71, such that only the auxiliary rail 31 moves outwards without affecting the turning of the upper body plate 2, thereby achieving a dislocation between the protective rail 21 and the auxiliary rail 31.
The turning mechanism 5 further includes a turning shaft ar- ranged between the shank plate 4 and the hip plate 3 and a turning motor for driving the turning shaft to rotate.
The turning mechanism 5 is not only provided with a mechanism for driving the upper body plate 2 to turn over, but may further be provided with a mechanism (electric motor) for driving the shank plate 4 to turn over, thereby achieving multi-section turn- ing.
In addition, the bed body 1 includes a bedstead, moving wheels, etc.
What is described above is merely the preferred implementa- tion of the present invention, the scope of protection of the pre- sent invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and all technical solutions following the idea of the present disclosure fall within the scope of protection of the present invention. It should be noted that several improvements and modifications made by those of ordinary skill in the technical field without depart- ing from the principle of the present invention should fall within the scope of protection of the present invention.
