Abstract

Provided is a method for producing a polyarylene sulfide resin composition including: a step A of preparing a master batch by mixing 0.2 to 50 parts by mass of an alkoxysilane compound with 100 parts by mass of a polyarylene sulfide resin having a melt viscosity of 5 to 80 Pas measured at a temperature of 310C and a shear rate of 1,200 sec-1;a step B of condensing a portion of the alkoxysilane compound in the master batch and setting a ratio of a condensate of the alkoxysilane compound to be 0.5 to 60 mass% of the alkoxysilane compound; and a step C of melt-kneading a raw material containing the master batch obtained in the step B and having the ratio of the condensate of the alkoxysilane compound within the range, at least one kind of inorganic filler containing a basic carbonate, and another component.
