Abstract
A SOLID FUEL CONTAINS 20 TO 60 MASS% OF A FIXED CARBON, 30 TO 66 MASS% OF A VOLATILE CONTENT, 3 TO 6 MASS% OF AN ASH CONTENT AND 6 MASS% OR LESS OF A MOISTURE CONTENT ON AIR DRIED BASIS AND HAS A HIGHER HEATING VALUE OF 20 TO 30 MJ/KG ON AIR DRIED BASIS. THIS SOLID FUEL CAN BE PRODUCED BY A METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SOLID FUEL, WHICH INCLUDES A SUPPLYING STEP FOR SUPPLYING SHELLS LEFT AFTER OBTAINING KERNEL OIL BY OIL-PRESSING PALM FRUIT SEEDS TO A HEATING UNIT, AND A HEATING STEP FOR HEATING THE SHELLS AT A TEMPERATURE OF 240 TO 350°C IN THE HEATING UNIT TO PROVIDE A HEAT-TREATED SOLID OF THE SHELLS.
