Abstract
A METHOD OF REMOVING IMPURITIES FROM CARBON DIOXIDE GAS IS PROVIDED. THE METHOD INCLUDES STEPS OF REMOVING THE HIGH BOILING POINT IMPURITY FROM THE CRUDE CARBON DIOXIDE GAS; AND REMOVING THE LOW BOILING POINT IMPURITY FROM THE CRUDE CARBON DIOXIDE GAS. IN THE STEP OF REMOVING THE HIGH BOILING POINT IMPURITY, THE CARBON DIOXIDE GAS IS SUPPLIED TO A LIQUID CARBON DIOXIDE RECTIFICATION TOWER (101), A PRE-DETERMINED AMOUNT OF THE SUPPLIED CRUDE CARBON DIOXIDE GAS IS STRIPPED TO A TOP OF THE RECTIFICATION TOWER (101), AND LIQUID CARBON DIOXIDE INCLUDING THE HIGH BOILING POINT IMPURITY IS EXHAUSTED FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE RECTIFICATION TOWER (101). IN THE STEP OF REMOVING THE LOW BOILING POINT IMPURITY, THE CARBON DIOXIDE GAS EXHAUSTED FROM THE TOP OF THE RECTIFICATION TOWER (101) IS DIVIDED INTO THE FIRST AND SECOND CARBON DIOXIDE GAS FLOW, THE FIRST CARBON DIOXIDE GAS FLOW IS FED TO THE RECTIFICATION TOWER TOP CONDENSER (105) TO CONDENSE COMPLETELY TO CONVERT THEREOF TO LIQUID CARBON DIOXIDE, THE LIQUID CARBON DIOXIDE IS FED TO THE RECTIFICATION TOWER TOP GAS-LIQUID SEPARATOR (07), THE LIQUID CARBON DIOXIDE IS MIXED WITH THE SECOND CARBON DIOXIDE GAS TO PERFORM RE-FLASHING, AND THE LOW BOILING POINT IMPURITY IN THE LIQUID CARBON DIOXIDE IS REMOVED IN THE RECTIFICATION TOWER TOP GAS-LIQUID SEPARATOR (107).
