Abstract

AN ICE-MAKING DEVICE INCLUDES AN ICE-MAKING TRAY (20). THE ICE-MAKING TRAY (20) INCLUDES FIRST AND SECOND ICE-MAKING CELLS (21A, 21B) ARRANGED SO AS TO BE HORIZONTALLY ADJACENT TO EACH OTHER. THE FIRST AND SECOND ICE-MAKING CELLS (21A, 21B) EACH HAVE A BOTTOM PORTION (211), A CELL UPPER END (212), AND A PLATE-SHAPED SIDEWALL (213) EXTENDING SO AS TO EXPAND FROM THE BOTTOM PORTION (211) TOWARD THE CELL UPPER END (212) IN THE FORM OF A SLOPE. THE ICE-MAKING TRAY (20) HAS A MAXIMUM WATER VOLUME MODE AND A MINIMUM WATER VOLUME MODE TO FILL TO A MINIMUM WATER VOLUME THAT IS AT MOST 1/2 OF THE MAXIMUM WATER VOLUME. A THERMISTOR (25) AS A TEMPERATURE MEASURING TOOL IS ARRANGED BELOW A POSITION (217) OF A WATER LEVEL IN THE MINIMUM WATER VOLUME MODE IN A SPACE (219) INSIDE OF THE SHAPE OF AN INVERSE LETTER V FORMED WITH A PORTION (214) AND A PORTION (215) OF THE SIDEWALL (213), SO AS TO BE PROXIMATE TO AT LEAST THE SIDEWALL (213) OF THE FIRST ICE-MAKING CELL (21A).
