Abstract
AN AIR - CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT CAN PERFORM A DEHUMIDIFYING OPERATION IN A REFRIGERATING CYCLE WHICH ALLOWS COOLING/DEHUMIDIFYING AND HEATING AND IN WHICH DEHUMIDIFYING OPERATIONS ARE MADE POSSIBLE WHICH ARE SUITABLE FOR VARIOUS UTILIZATION CONDITIONS WHILE PREVENTING A REDUCTION OF PERFORMANCE IN A COOLING OPERATION AND A HEATING OPERATION. IN A REFRIGERATING CYCLE IN WHICH A UTILIZATION HEAT-EXCHANGER (6) IS DIVIDED INTO TWO PORTIONS AND A DEHUMIDIFYING RESTRICTOR (7) IS DISPOSED BETWEEN THE TWO PORTIONS FOR USE IN A DEHUMIDIFYING OPERATION, THE CAPACITIES OF AT LEAST THE COMPRESSOR (1), THE UTILIZATION - SIDE FAN (12) AND THE FAN (10) IN THE HEAT - SOURCE SIDE ARE MADE CONTROLLABLE. BY CONTROLLING THESE CAPACITIES SUITABLY, THE LOW AIRFLOW RATE DEHUMIDIFYING OPERATION AND THE HIGH AIRFLOW RATE DEHUMIDIFYING OPERATION ARE PERFORMED. AND, FOR EACH OF THESE OPERATIONS, A HEATING, AN ISOTHERMAL, A COOLING OPERATION IS PERFORMED. ALSO, IN THE TWO - DIVIDED UTILIZATION SIDE HEAT - EXCHANGER (6), THE REFRIGERANT PIPES ARE ARRANGED IN NOT LESS THAN TWO SYSTEMS AND AN OUTLET PORTION IS MADE SINGLE - SYSTEM IN A HEATING OPERATION. FURTHER, THE REFRIGERANT FLOW AND THE AIR STREAM ARE MADE COUNTERFLOW AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.(FIG 2)
