FOR EASY DEBURRING THE INVENTION PROVIDES BRIEF INTENSE HEATING OF THE EDGE REGION (3) OF THE METAL BILLET (1) BY MEANS OF AN ELECTRIC INDUCTION ELEMENT (4) IN THE DIRECTION OF FEED (R) BEHIND THE TRIMMING SHEARS (2). IN ADDITION THE INVENTION RELATES TO A DEVICE FOR TRIMMING A METAL BILLET.
