Abstract

THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO NOVEL PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING STEROIDS WITH A LONG-LASTING EFFECT AND COMPRISING SALTS OF A NEW ANTICHOLINERGIC OF FORMULA 1.WHEREINX -DENOTES AN ANION WITH A SINGLE NEGATIVE CHARGE, PREFERABLY AN ANION SELECTED FROM THE GROUP CONSISTING OF CHLORIDE, BROMIDE, IODIDE, SULPHATE, PHOSPHATE, METHANESULPHONATE, NITRATE, MALEATE, ACETATE, CITRATE, FUMARATE, TARTRATE, OXALATE, SUCCINATE, BENZOATE AND P-TOLUENESULPHONATE. THE PRESENT INVENTION FURTHER RELATES TO PROCESSES FOR PREPARING THESE NOVEL PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS AND THEIR USE IN THE TREATMENT OF RESPIRATORY COMPLAINTS, IN PARTICULAR ASTHMA AND COPD.
