Abstract
THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO A NOVEL METHOD FOR CROSSLINKING AN ISOPRENE-ISOBUTYLENE RUBBER WITH RESINS, AND A CROSSLINKED RUBBER PRODUCT OBTAINED BY SAID METHOD. ACCORDING TO THE PRESENT INVENTION, THERE ARE PROVIDED:A METHOD FOR CROSSLINKING AN ISOPRENE-ISOBUTYLENE RUBBER, WHICH COMPRISES ADDING, TO 100 PARTS BY WEIGHT OF AN ISOPRENE-ISOBUTYLENE RUBBER, 8-25 PARTS BY WEIGHT OF AN ALKYLPHENOL-FORMALDEHYDE RESIN AND 0.3-10PARTS BY WEIGHT OF AN EXPOXY RESIN SUCH AS BISPHENOL A TYPE EPOXY RESIN, ANDA CROSSLINKED RUBBER PRODUCT OF HIGHT HARDNESS AND EXCELLENT PROPERTIES OBTAINED BY THE ABOVE METHOD.(FIG. 1)
