Abstract

A HIGH SECURITY SERVICE VALVE FOR AN AIR CONDITIONER WHICH PERMITS MANIPULATING A VALVE LEVER WITHOUT REMOVING A CAP NUT AND OMITTING A STAGE TO CAULK A VALVE MAIN UNIT, AND IS CONFIGURED TO ALLOW THE CAP NUT TO PREVENT THE VALVE LEVER FROM SPRINGING OUT. THE SERVICE VALVE HAS A CONSTRUCTION WHEREIN A TAPER (14) IS FORMED ON AN OUTER CIRCUMFERENTIAL EDGE OF A TOP OF A VALVE LEVER (13) HAVING A HEXAGONAL ROTATIONAL CONTROL SLOT (19) FORMED AT A CENTER THEREOF, AN INVERTED TAPER (9) IS FORMED, IN OPPOSITION TO THE TAPER (14), ON AN INNER CIRCUMFERENTIAL EDGE OF A VALVE MAIN UNIT IN WHICH THE VALVE LEVER (13) IS SCREWED, A RUN-THROUGH HOLE (22) IS FORMED AT A CENTER OF A TOP WALL OF A CAP NUT (20) SCREWED OVER THE TOP OF THE VALVE MAIN UNIT, AND A RING-LIKE PROTRUSION (23) WHICH RIDES OVER BOTH THE TAPER (14) AND THE INVERTED TAPER (9) IS FORMED ALONG AN OUTER CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE RUN-THROUGH HOLE (22) FORMED ON A LOWER SURFACE OF THE TOP WALL.FIGURE 1
