Abstract
Un metodo de seleccion de barreno generara y registrara o exhibira una secuencia de barrenos de perforacion seleccionados entre una pluralidad de candidatos de barreno adaptados para perforar una formacion terrestre en respuesta a datos de entrada que representan caracteristicas de formacion terrestres de la formacion que se va a perforar a traves de: comparar los datos de entrada que representan las caracteristicas de la formacion que se va a perforar con un conjunto de datos historicos que incluyen una pluralidad de conjuntos de caracteristicas de la formacion terrestre y una pluralidad correspondiente de secuencias de barrenos de perforacion que se usaran en relacion con los conjuntos de caracteristicas de la formacion terrestre, y localizar una igualacion sustancial entre las caracteristicas de la formacion que se va a perforar asociadas con los datos de entrada y por lo menos una de la pluralidad de caracteristicas de la formacion terrestre asociada con el conjuntos de datos historicos; cuando se encuentra la igualacion sustancial, generar una de una pluralidad de secuencias de barrenos de perforacion en respuesta a dicha igualacion; y registrar o exhibir dicha una de la pluralidad de secuencias de barrenos de perforacion en un dispositivo de grabacion o de exhibicion.
