Abstract
Cuando se procesa una senal, que tiene una secuencia de valores discretos, donde hay un primer intervalo de frecuencia, en el cual la senal tiene una alta energia, y en que hay un segundo intervalo de frecuencia, en el cual la senal tiene una baja energia, la secuencia de valores discretos es primero manipulada (202) para obtener una secuencia de valore manipulado, de modo que al menos uno de los valores manipulados no es de enteros. Luego la secuencia de los valores manipulaos es redondeada (204) para obtener una secuencia de valores manipulados. El redondeo se forma para efectuar una configuracion espectral de un error de redondeo generado, asi que un error de redondeo, configurado espectralmente, tiene una energia mayor en el primer intervalo de frecuencia, que en el segundo intervalo de frecuencia. Por configurar espectralmente el error de redondeo, de manera que este error de redondeo no tenga cualquier energia o en las areas de almacenamiento, donde no hay energia de senal, se obtiene una codificacion especialmente eficiente, en particular en relacion con un contexto de codificacion sin perdidas.
