Abstract
La manipulacion de los datos de audio puede simplificarse, tal como, por ejemplo, con respecto a la combinacion de corrientes de datos de audio individuales para corrientes de datos de audio de canal multiple o la manipulacion general de una corriente de datos de audio, al modificar (56) un bloque de datos en una corriente de datos de audio (10) dividida en bloques de datos (10a, 10b) con el bloque de determinacion (14, 16) y datos de audio (18) del bloque de datos tal como al completar o agregar o reemplazar parte de los mismos, de manera que los mismos incluyan un indicador de longitud que indique una cantidad o longitud de datos, respectivamente, de los datos de audio del bloque de datos o una cantidad o longitud de datos, respectivamente, del bloque de datos, para obtener una segunda corriente de datos de audio con bloques de datos modificados. Alternativamente, una corriente de datos de audio (10) con indicadores en bloques de determinacion (14, 10), que apuntan a los datos de audio del bloque de determinacion asociados a estos bloques de determinacion, pero distribuidos entre diferentes bloques de datos, se convierte en una corriente de datos de audio, en donde los datos de audio del bloque de determinacion (44, 46) se combinan con datos de audio del bloque de determinacion contiguo (48). Los datos de audio del bloque de determinacion contiguo (48) pueden incluirse entonces en un elemento de canal autonomo (52a) conjuntamente con su bloque de determinacion (14, 16).
