Se proveen metodos y aparatos para intercambiar informacion con un dispositivo de comunicacion objetivo inactivo para localizar un dispositivo de comunicacion objetivo inactivo por medio de una infraestructura inalambrica, transmitir informacion al dispositivo de comunicacion objetivo inactivo por medio de la infraestructura inalambrica, y permitir que el dispositivo de comunicacion objetivo inactivo, al recibir dicha informacion de la estructura inalambrica, inicie la transmision de la informacion a la estructura inalambrica; los metodos y aparato proveen ademas la informacion de traslado enviada a y/o recibida del dispositivo de comunicacion objetivo inactivo.
