Abstract

Un metodo de control de ganancia automatico (AGC) de acuerdo a la presente invencion aplica una ganancia inicial por medio de un circuito de AGC digital (13) en un intervalo de tiempo determinado usando una ganancia calculada final del mismo intervalo de tiempo en el cuadro previo junto con un factor de desviacion. Una funcion de eliminacion (14) es activada por un bloque de muestreo de datos dado cuando el numero de muestras de datos saturadas que son detectadas dentro del bloque (17) excede un valor umbral. La medicion de potencia hecha por el circuito de AGC y usada para actualizar la ganancia es ajustada sobre la base del numero de muestras de datos medidas que estan saturadas. Esos elementos proporcionan una funcion que limitan la ganancia y permiten el alcance dinamico para el procesamiento adicional de la senal.
