Abstract
Un procedimiento para el recubrimiento por inmersion en bano fundido de una banda (1) de metal, especialmente de una banda (1a) de acero, que es conducida a traves de una estacion (4) de recubrimiento, recubriendose la banda (1) de metal con metal (3) de recubrimiento, la banda (1) de metal se mantiene en el centro de un canal (8) de guiado en un campo (13) de estanqueidad electromagnetico que cierra hermeticamente hacia abajo el canal (8) de guiado y conduce la banda (1) de metal lateralmente contra la atraccion ferromagnetica a traves de un campo (14) de correccion. Para elegir de forma adecuada una estanqueidad lateral utilizando cualquier campo (13) de estanqueidad se propone que el campo (13) de estanqueidad se realice como campo (10) electromagnetico de ondas progresivas, como campo (11) de bloqueo o como campo (12) de bombeo y se disponen repartidos varios campos (14) de correccion en una configuracion elegida cuya posicion y numero se determinan individualmente al menos segun diferentes niveles de anchura de la banda (1) de metal.
