Abstract

Se describe un proceso de electrolisis para la recuperacion de metal de una solucion acuosa. Despues de la electrolisis se provoca que la solucion metalica se deposite sobre una superficie de deposicion de un catodo. El proceso incluye el paso de inducir una densidad de corriente no uniforme a traves de la superficie de deposicion, para formar asi areas de alta densidad de corriente. Intercaladas por areas de baja densidad de corriente. La diferencia entre las areas de alta densidad de corriente y baja densidad de corriente, es suficiente para provocar que la deposicion de metal se concentre sobre las areas de alta densidad de corriente, para promover asi la deposicion no uniforme del metal a traves de la superficie de deposicion. Se define tambien una celda de electrolisis para la electrorrecuperacion del metal de una solucion acuosa. La celda incluye un catodo el cual incluye una superficie de deposicion sobre la cual se deposita el metal despues de la electrolisis de la solucion acuosa. En operacion de la celda, la superficie de deposicion tiene un campo electrico no uniforme que tiene areas de campo electrico fuerte intercalada por areas de campo electrico debil. La diferencia entre las areas de campo electrico fuerte y campo electrico debil es suficiente para provocar que la deposicion del metal se concentre sobre las areas de campo electrico alto para promover asi la deposicion no uniforme del metal sobre la superficie.
