Abstract
Proceso para preparar anhidrido ftalico mediante oxidacion de fase de gas de xileno, naftaleno o mezclas de los mismos en un reactor de coraza-y-tubo termostatado por medio de un medio de transferencia termica a traves de tres o mas catalizadores diferentes de lecho fijo dispuestos en zonas, en donde el proceso se lleva a cabo de manera que la temperatura maxima en la segunda zona de catalizador en la direccion de flujo es hasta 50 degree C inferior a la temperatura maxima en la primera zona de catalizador, y la temperatura maxima en la tercera zona desde la entrada de gas es de 30 a 100 degree C inferior a aquella en la primera zona de catalizador.El proceso de la presente invencion hace posible preparar anhidrido ftalico en rendimientos elevados bajo condiciones industrialmente relevantes.
