Abstract
De acuerdo con una modalidad descrita, un contador de indicacion de flujo es incrementado cada vez que un paquete de datos es transmitido desde una memoria intermedia (408). Cuado el numero de paquetes de datos transmitidos es igual o excede un numero de umbral (410), se genera un mensaje de indicacion de flujo que comprende el tamano de ventana de la memoria intermedia, y es transmitido al controlador de la estacion base (412). Ademas, los mensajes de indicacion de flujo pueden ser generados y transmitidos en cada intervalo de tiempo de umbral, independientemente del numero de paquetes de datos transmitidos, para asegurar que los mensajes de indicacion de flujo son enviados por lo menos en cada intervalo de tiempo previamente determinado. Ademas, se puede construir un sistema de control de flujo que comprende un modulo contador de indicacion de flujo (302), configurado para proporcionar un numero actualizado de paquetes de datos transmitidos.
