Abstract

Se describen articulos o substratos moldeados que tienen un recubrimiento en molde (90) sobre los mismos; los substratos recubiertos en molde se producen mediante un metodo en donde el flujo de la composicion en molde sobre el substrato se puede controlar selectivamente, los articulos moldeados se pueden recubrir preferentemente en areas deseadas o predeterminadas con composiciones de recubrimiento en molde controlando el grosor o profundidad de varias secciones del substrato; en una modalidad adicional, un articulo moldeado o substrato es provisto con un reborde de contencion de recubrimiento en molde (130) para contener sustancialmente el recubrimiento en molde (90) dentro de la cavidad de molde y en el area deseada de una parte antes de que el recubrimiento haya endurecido, en otra modalidad adicional de la presente invencion, un articulo o substrato moldeado es provisto por lo menos con una seccion de corredera o canal de flujo preferido para promover el flujo de recubrimiento en molde sobre la superficie de un substrato; una modalidad adicional de la presente invencion provee un articulo moldeado con un area de espesor relativo incrementado en la ubicacion de la inyeccion de recubrimiento en molde para fomentar o promover el flujo de recubrimiento en molde.
