Abstract

La invencion se refiere a un procedimiento para la preparacion de una 2,4-didesoxihexosa o una 2,4,6-tridesoxihexosa a partir de un compuesto carbonilo sustituido o no sustituido con al menos dos atomos de carbono y al menos un atomo de hidrogeno a y un aldehido sustituido o no sustituido, en presencia de una aldolasa y agua, llevandose a cabo la reaccion entre el compuesto carbonilo sustituido o no sustituido con al menos dos atomos de carbono y al menos un atomo de hidrogeno a y el aldehido sustituido o no sustituido, a una concentracion de carbonilo de cuando mucho 6 moles/l de mezcla de reaccion, y la concentracion final de la 2,4-didesoxihexosa o la 2,4,6-tridesoxihexosa es de al menos 2% en masa de la mezcla de reaccion; la invencion tambien se refiere al uso de una didesoxihexosa o una 2,4,6-tridesoxihexosa obtenida por medio de un procedimiento de acuerdo con la invencion, en la preparacion de un medicamento, particularmente en la preparacion de una estatina.
