Abstract
El contenido de azufre de los productos de desintegracion liquida, especialmente la gasolina desintegrada, se reduce en un proceso de desintegracion catalitica que emplea un catalizador de desintegracion que contiene un contenido elevado de vanadio. El proceso de desintegracion involucra introducir al menos un compuesto de vanadio en una materia prima que contiene hidrocarburo-azufre para cargase en un reactor de desintegracion catalitica de fluido que opera bajo condiciones de estado estable y contiene un inventario de catalizador de desintegracion de fluido en equilibrio dentro del reactor. La cantidad de azufre en los productos liquidos, en particular gasolina y fracciones de LCO, se reduce como un resultado del contenido de vanadio incrementado en el catalizador de equilibrio.
