Abstract

Se describe un proceso mejorado de reformacion catalitica. Una alimentacion de hidrocarburo sustancialmente libre de agua es cargada a un sistema de reformador de multiples reactores que se pone en operacion bajo condiciones de reformacion y que comprende por lo menos dos reactores de reformador (20), (40) y (54) conectados en serie en comunicacion de flujo de fluidos y que contienen cada uno un catalizador reformador y simultaneamente con la etapa de carga, un agente de cloracion es introducido secuencialmente en las lineas (72), (74) y (76), sin introducir simultaneamente agua, inmediatamente corriente arriba de las entradas de todos los reactores de reformador en una cantidad y por un periodo de tiempo que son efectivos para inhibir la desactivacion del catalizador reformador.
