Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un cuerpo sinterizado, altamente poroso, que tiene al menos una capa de material capaz de sinterizacion que comprende fibras, mediante el cual la tarea de proporcionar un cuerpo de este tipo con mejores caracteristicas de calcinacion y valores para la retencion de llama se soluciona mediante el hecho de que las fibras que se utilizan se configuran convexas en uno y/o ambos lados y tienen un eje principal mas corto que aproximadamente 1 mm y un eje secundario mas corto que aproximadamente 200 ¦m, siendo que el eje principal es mas grande que el eje secundario. La presente invencion se refiere adicionalmente a un metodo para la produccion de estos cuerpos sinterizados, altamente porosos, y a su uso.
