Abstract
En un sistema de comunicacion de datos con capacidad de transmision de velocidad variable, la velocidad de datos se determina mediante la medida de C/I mas grande de las senales de enlace sin retorno como se mide en la Terminal (6) de Acceso. En una modalidad, la transmision de datos se programa basandose en el control de potencia directa iniciado por la Terminal (6) de Acceso, que reduce la perdida de cuantizacion de velocidad de enlace sin retorno debido a la potencia de transmision en exceso. La Terminal (6) de Acceso informa al Punto (4) de Acceso la estimacion C/I en exceso para la velocidad seleccionada. El Punto (4) de Acceso entonces reduce su potencia de transmision mediante una cantidad apropiada cuando da servicio a esa Terminal (6) de Acceso. En otra modalidad, la transmision de datos se programa basandose en un control de potencia directa iniciado por el Punto (4) de Acceso. El Punto (4) de Acceso varia su potencia de transmision con el tiempo ya sea aleatoriamente o en sincronismo con el Punto (4) de Acceso vecino en el sistema de comunicacion, el cual permite un incremento en la produccion lograda por los usuarios que reciben una cantidad importante de interferencia.
