Abstract

Se describe una mezcla que comprende un polietileno de densidad media, alto peso molecular (HMW MDPE) y un polietileno lineal de baja densidad (LLDPE). La mezcla comprende desde aproximadamente el 20 en peso hasta aproximadamente el 80% en peso de HMW MDPE. El HMW MDPE tiene una densidad de aproximadamente 0.92 hasta aproximadamente 0.944 g/cc, un indice derretido MI2 de aproximadamente 0.01 hasta aproximadamente 0.5 dg/min, una proporcion de flujo derretido MFR de aproximadamente 50 hasta aproximadamente 300. La mezcla comprende tambien de aproximadamente el 20% en peso hasta aproximadamente el 80% en peso de LLDPE. El LLDPE tiene una densidad dentro del rango de aproximadamente 0.90 hasta aproximadamente 0.925 g/cc y un MI2 dentro del rango de aproximadamente 0.50 hasta aproximadamente 50 dg/min.
