Abstract

Un proceso para extraer y purificar zeolita que se encuentra en la naturaleza de menas en presencia de otras fases minerales utilizando dispersion mecanica y suspension diferencial para eliminar la mayor parte del contenido de arcilla de la mena. El proceso continua removiendo los contaminantes con relaciones mas altas de masa a area de superficie que la del producto de zeolita deseado, utilizando propiedades del agua desmineralizada en combinacion con una columna de separacion de flujo a contracorriente. En el proceso no se utilizan agentes floculantes o de flotacion.
