Abstract

La presente invencion describe una formulacion de polvo seco comestible de un recubrimiento de pelicula para farmaceuticos y confecciones usando goma acacia como un formador de pelicula de bajo costo. Se usa un polimero celulosico tal como hidroxipropil metilcelulosa ademas de la goma acacia. Tambien se adiciona un plastificante tal como propilen glicol. La formulacion resultante es un polvo de flujo libre, seco que puede colocarse en solucion y aplicarse a una tableta u otro sustrato sin un periodo de espera extendido. El recubrimiento de pelicula resultante es claro, brillante, durable y extremadamente economico. Debido a que la formulacion es un polvo seco, tiene larga vida de anaquel y bajos costos de transportacion.
