Abstract
La invencion se relaciona con un rotor usado en el mecanismo de flotacion en la concentracion de menas. De acuerdo a la invencion, la parte superior de las camaras del rotor debajo de la cubierta el rotor estan formadas para que sean inclinadas hacia abajo desde la orilla exterior de las camaras hacia el nucleo de manera que forman un angulo de entre 5 y 70 grados con el plano horizontal. En adicion la superficie superior de la cubierta del rotor puede estar inclinada hacia arriba elevandose desde alrededor del eje del rotor hacia la orilla exterior en un angulo de entre 5 y 70 grados. Con los medios dentro y arriba del rotor la lechada es dirigida hacia arriba a traves del estator o el mecanismo de flotacion. El rotor desarrollado mejora la suspension de particulas gruesas con alta gravedad especifica dentro de la maquina de flotacion. La invencion se relaciona tambien con un metodo para invertir el flujo de material que se descarga desde el rotor.
