Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a la medicion del progreso de una reaccion quimica que genera un producto de reaccion electroactivo que se detecta subsecuentemente en un electrodo amperometricamente o coulometricamente; el metodo es util en aplicaciones en las cuales es preferible seguir el progreso de una reaccion quimica, particularmente en aplicaciones sensoras en donde el progreso de la reaccion de un analito puede ser util para la determinacion de la concentracion del analito; los sensores que se utilizan en dichas aplicaciones pueden incluir un electrodo de trabajo (2) y un electrodo contador (3) dispuestos en un substrato electricamente aislante (1), y tambien puede incluir un segundo substrato (5) sobre el cual se dispone una capa de reactivos quimicos (4).
