Abstract

La invencion se refiere a un inserto de corte para el mecanizado con arranque de viruta de piezas por mecanizar con varios cantos de cuchilla, particularmente para desbastar, siendo que entre cantos 10 de cuchilla contiguos se ha dispuesto un esquina de corte arqueada o compuesta de una multitud de segmentos de bordes cortos en cada caso rectos y en cada caso dispuestos entre si en angulo obtuso. Inventivamente se ha dispuesto en la superficie de desprendimiento un bisel 14, 15 a lo largo del canto 10 de cuchilla que tiene un ancho de bisel mayor en el centro del filo 10 de corte respecto a las areas de bisel contiguos en ambos lados, siendo que el ancho de bisel mayor es 1.5 hasta 4 veces mayor que el ancho del bisel lateralmente contiguo.
