Abstract
En un proceso para la produccion de urea, se hace reaccionar amoniaco substancialmente puro y dioxido de carbono en un espacio de reaccion (19) del que proviene una mezcla de reaccion que se sujeta a un agotamiento (21) para obtener una mezcla parcialmente purificada que se envia a una seccion de recuperacion de urea. Desde la seccion de recuperacion se obtiene una solucion de carbamato diluida, la cual se sujeta a un agotamiento (22) con recirculacion de por lo menos parte de los vapores al espacio de reaccion (19) y/o al agotamiento (21) de la mezcla de reaccion. Este proceso alcanza un alto rendimiento de conversion con un consumo de energia reducido y un costo de implementacion bajo.
