Abstract
Bloques de concreto con una estructura de celda abierta se extienden a traves de la totalidad del bloque, se ensamblan en columnas e hileras substancialmente paralelas para formar una estructura de estera capaz de articular sobre estructuras submarinas. Los bloques se ensamblan por cables flexibles que pasan a traves del centro de cada bloque a traves de aberturas perpendiculares, que se localizan en diferentes planos horizontales para evitar interseccion de los cables. Un cojin resistente a abrasivo, removible, se coloca en una superficie de los bloques, para evitar que el bloque completo provoque dano a la estructura. El cojin esta constituido por una base solida con una abertura que corresponde a la abertura en el bloque. Tambien tiene una pluralidad de postes que se extienden hacia arriba, que sirven como un punto de contacto entre el cojin y la estructura submarina y al menos una espiga autoenclavante se extiende hacia abajo, que se inserta en orificios de espiga en una superficie del bloque despues de que se ha endurecido el concreto. Todo el cojin es un material homogeneo. Este tamano de estera es capaz de ser modificado dinamicamente en el sitio de instalacion para ajustarse a diversas situaciones.
