Abstract

La invencion describe una composicion de caucho vulcanizable que comprende caucho, azufre o un donador de azufre, un acelerador de la vulcanizacion, y un agente protector y se caracteriza porque 0.1 phr o mas de un agente protector de p-fenilenodiamina N,N??-disubstituida esta presente en la forma de una sal con un acido, y la composicion no comprende un copolimero elastomerico que tiene grupos glicidilo; la invencion tambien describe un procedimiento de vulcanizacion que comprende el mezclado y calentamiento de la composicion de caucho y a un articulo de manufactura que comprende el vulcanizado de caucho obtenido mediante dicho procedimiento; preferiblemente, el acido es un acido monocarboxilico de 1 a 24 carbonos o un acido dicarboxilico de 2 a 24 carbonos, mas preferiblemente un acido graso de 12 a 20 carbonos tal como el acido estearico; mas preferiblemente, el agente protector es 6PPD.
