Abstract

La invencion se relaciona con un metodo para inducir la resistencia sistemica en plantas, protegiendo asi a las plantas contra una amplia gama de patogenos y enfermedades de la planta. El metodo de la invencion comprende la aplicacion de una formulacion biologicamente activa, que comprende un difenil eter, a una planta. De acuerdo con la invencion, se ha observado que el uso de esta formulacion resulta en la resistencia sistemica inducida en una planta objetivo. Tambien de acuerdo con el metodo de la invencion, la formulacion ha sido mostrada para desencadenar la resistencia sistemica no especifica, perdurable, en la planta a una variedad de patogenos y enfermedades. Ademas, el metodo de la invencion resulta en un incremento en los niveles de las isoflavonas de la planta.
