Abstract

Se describe una grapa que puede usarse para fabricar la estructura de celosia de varillas de refuerzo del tipo usado en la construccion de lozas de concreto reforzadas con varilla de acero. Tambien se describe un aparato para unir estas grapas en posicion. La grapa preferida tiene un cuerpo practicamente rectangular. Una abertura se extiende desde una primera cara del cuerpo hacia una cara opuesta. La abertura termina en una porcion curvada. Los bordes internos de la abertura son convergentes hacia la porcion curvada. El aparato tiene una abertura en una placa base. Seguros en la placa ubican convenientemente el aparato en donde una placa de corte puede cortar una grapa de una pila de tales grapas para atravesar la abertura en donde la porcion curvada de la grapa embraga la varilla superior. Un par de brazos en forma de J que pivotan se actuan, lo cual dobla las porciones inferiores de la grapa alrededor de la varilla inferior asegurando las dos varillas.
