Abstract
Se proporciona ventajosamente una construccion de puerta nueva y mejorada y metodo de fabricacion de la misma. La puerta incluye un primer y segundo paneles de puerta formados, cada uno teniendo un perfil en forma de L sustancialmente similar o identico definido por una porcion trasera alargada y una porcion de base relativamente mas corta. El primer y segundo paneles de puerta formados se colocan en una relacion encajada opuesta de modo que las porciones traseras y las porciones de base estan acomodadas en una relacion opuesta orientadas entre si. Una region hueca entonces esta definida por y entre el primer y segundo paneles de puerta formados. Los paneles se mantienen temporalmente en alineacion entre si en esta relacion por medio de adhesivo, de preferencia a traves del uso de un material de centro interno adecuado asegurado entre los paneles por medio de adhesivo. Los paneles despues de eso se unen permanentemente por soldadura por laser realizada a lo largo de la primera y segunda uniones. En particular, la primera union esta formada en el empalme de la base del primer panel con la parte trasera del segundo panel, y la segunda union esta formada en el empalme de la base del segundo panel con la parte trasera del primer panel. La primera union esta colocada a lo largo de un primer borde lateral de la construccion de puerta inmediatamente adyacente a la porcion trasera del segundo panel. La segunda union esta colocada a lo largo de un segundo borde lateral de la construccion de puerta inmediatamente adyacente a la porcion trasera del primer panel. Este arreglo da como resultado un primer y segundo borde de puerta sustancialmente no interrumpidos definidos por las porciones de base del primer y segundo paneles de puerta en forma de L.
