Abstract
Se describe una toalla sanitaria que incluye un cuerpo sustancialmente plano y alargado que define dos bordes laterales longitudinales mas grandes; el cuerpo cuenta con una capa exterior de material impermeable al liquido que da hacia la prenda, una capa de cubierta de material permeable al liquido que da hacia el cuerpo, un centro absorbente insertado en el cuerpo entre la capa exterior y la capa de cubierta, y por lo menos una ala flexible sustancialmente protuberante que basicamente se proyecta hacia afuera desde cada borde lateral longitudinal del cuerpo, el ala es sustancialmente transparente y/o translucida.
