Abstract
Un material compuesto estructural con agentes reforzadores de carbono LiFePO4 puede ser sintetizado en una fase unica satisfactoriamente para lograr caracteristicas de celdas superiores. En la preparacion de un material activo catodico, los materiales de partida para la sintesis de un compuesto representado por la formula general LixFePO4, en donde O < x = 1, se mezclan, muelen y un material de carbono se adiciona a la masa resultante en un punto de tiempo opcional en el curso del mezclado, molido y sinterizado. Como materiales de partida para la sintesis de LixFePO4, se usan Li3PO4, Fe,(PO4)2 o sus hidratos Fe3(PO4)2nH2O, en donde n denota el numero de hidratos. La temperatura de un producto a partir de la sinterizacion se ajusta a 305degree C o menos cuando el producto de la sinterizacion se expone a la atmosfera. La concentracion de oxigeno en una atmosfera de sinterizacion se ajusta a 1012 ppm en volumen o menos en el punto de tiempo de la sinterizacion.
