DISPOSABLE ABSORBENT SHOE WITH TOTAL ADJUSTMENT
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION A disposable absorbent pant is a disposable absorbent article that can be raised and lowered by the legs and used by children around two years of age, in the learning stage, so that they can go to the bathroom on their own. These types of items can also be used by older children who have incontinence problems. In addition, recently its core or absorbent matrix has been adapted so that it does not swell on contact with water and can be used for swimming by infants and children, so that the pants absorb and retain the exudates and not be uncomfortable for the user . There are several types of disposable underwear in the market and all of them are looking for absorbency, softness, good retention and good adjustment towards the user. In order to avoid runoff, and adjust the pants to the wearer, elastics have been placed in the waist area and by the parts in which it will be in contact with the legs of the user. Examples of this can be found in U.S. Patent Nos. 5,055,103, 5,092,861 and 5,147,487, all issued by Nomura et al., And assigned to Uni Charm Corp. On the other hand, there are some designs that use elasticized side panels for the purpose to adjust the pants to the user; examples of these designs can be found in U.S. Patent Nos. 4,938,757 and 4,940,464, to Van Gompel, and assigned to Kimberly-Clark Corporation. The use of this type of elasticized panels is effective but it makes the product considerably more expensive. On the other hand, when this type of products is used for swimming, the pants tend to deform and bulge, losing the adjustment towards the user, mainly in areas where there are no elastics or adjustment panels, which is why it is proposed the present invention the use of elastic threads or bands placed parallel to the waist elastics and throughout the length of the pants, so as to achieve a total adjustment thereof to the user. These elastics will be separated from each other by a distance that does not allow the pants to deform and in this way be kept at all times adjusted towards the user. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The objective of the present invention is to achieve a suitable adjustment towards the user of a disposable absorbent pant by means of the use of adjusting elastics throughout the length of the brief. A further objective of the invention is to achieve this adjustment without increasing the cost of the product. A further object of the invention is to increase user comfort by using a disposable absorbent pant.
Another object of the invention is to eliminate risks of leakage or leakage by achieving an adequate adjustment of the disposable absorbent pantyhose to the wearer. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Figure 1 shows the disposable absorbent pants of the present invention in a configuration suitable for use. Figure 2 shows the disposable absorbent pants in planar form, that is, before their side edges are joined. In Figure 3 the outer layer of the disposable absorbent pants is shown before the insert containing the absorbent matrix is placed thereon. Detailed Description of the Invention A disposable training pant is an item generally worn by children around 24 months of age who are being trained to go to the bathroom on their own. These types of items can also be used by older infants who have problems with toilet training, either during the day, during the night, or both. It is a type of disposable item that is designed so that it can be raised and lowered by the legs, that is, it has the shape of a common underpants with an opening in the waist and an opening for each of the legs. Recently this type of articles, with the necessary modifications in the matrix or absorbent insert so that it does not swell on contact with water, has been used for swimming babies, either as a substitute for the swimsuit, or in addition to the swimsuit to contain and retain the exudates. The fundamental structure of a disposable pant is as follows: a soft and permeable inner layer, an impermeable outer layer and an absorbent matrix placed between them. The shorts also have elastics in the waist opening and in the leg openings to adjust it towards the user. In a preferred embodiment, the disposable pants may be constituted, as shown in FIG. 1, by an outer layer (25) preferably breathable and fabric-like, and by an absorbent insert (30). Figure 1 shows the pants in a configuration ready for use by the user. This is achieved by means of the side links (43) that close the shorts, leaving the leg openings (37) and the waist opening (36) so that the shorts can be put on and removed. Figure 1 also illustrates the waist elastics (27), the leg elastics (29) and the adjustment elastics (28) of the invention, which are placed parallel to the waist elastics (27) throughout of all the pants, so that a total adjustment is achieved towards the body of the user and not only in some areas such as the waist, legs and side parts. This is especially useful and necessary in disposable absorbent pants for baby swimmers, since contact with water can form pockets in different areas of the pants that reduce the fit, running the risk of leakage, in addition to being uncomfortable for the user . Figure 2 shows the shorts before they are joined by their side edges (38), and the composition of the absorbent insert (30), which is formed by a permeable upper layer (31), a waterproof lower layer, can be observed in detail. (33) and an absorbent matrix placed between them (32). The insert
(30) can also have lateral barriers (34) for a better retention of exudates. For explanatory purposes, the disposable pant of figure 2 has been divided into three parts, the front part (40), the back part (41) and the crotch part (42), so that when joining the lateral edges thereof (38), the front part (40) forms the front part of the pants, the back part (41) forms the back part thereof and the crotch part (42) is below the pants and is the area that will remain between the legs. legs of the user when placing the diaper on it. Likewise, figure two shows the waist elastics (27), the adjustment elastics (28), and the leg elastics (29). The number of adjustment elastics (28) in a brief varies according to its size and according to the separation between them. The adjustment elastics (28) can be placed throughout the length of the shorts. In the event that the leg elastics (29) cross the crotch, preferably no adjustment elastics (28) are placed in said crotch area (42), as shown in figures 2 and 3. The outer layer ( 25) can be constituted, as shown in FIG. 3, by two films of non-woven fabric laminated together, so that the waist elastics (27), the leg elastics (29) and the adjusting elastics ( 28) of the present invention are placed between both films to avoid direct contact with the wearer's skin. In this way, the outer layer (25) is a breathable laminate with a fabric appearance. The adjusting elastics (28) of the invention are placed between the two films that form the outer layer parallel to the waist elastics (27). The first adjustment elastic (28), that is to say the one closest to the waist elastics (27) on both sides of the shorts, front (40) and rear (41), is spaced a minimum distance of 10 mm from them. The minimum distance between each of the adjustment elastics is 5 mm. During the manufacturing process of this type of articles, the materials generally run transversely, joining all their components so that in the final part of the same the article is bent and joined by the lateral joints (43), thus achieving the desired pant configuration. For the application of the adjusting elastics (28) of the present invention, adhesive is applied on the lower film of the outer layer (25), the tensioned elastics are joined to later join the upper film of the outer layer, so that the they are placed between both films, lower and upper, of the outer layer (25). In the same way the waist elastics (27) and the leg elastics (29) are placed. Subsequently, the absorbent insert (30) is placed on the outer layer to finally bend it and join its lateral edges (38) in the lateral joints (43). Once the side edges (38) are joined, tensions are eliminated so that the shorts are fully elasticized, as shown in Figure 1. Once the side edges (38) are joined during the manufacturing process by means of the union (43) and the configuration is given a configuration as shown in Figure 1, the shorts are elasticized in its entirety, preventing the formation of bags during use and making it fit to the user even after having received several discharges in the case of a training brief or after having been completely wet in the case of a swim shorts. While the invention has been described in terms of its preferred embodiments, the scope thereof includes any type of change or modification thereto that may be apparent to a person skilled in the art.
