Abstract
El proceso de produccion de fosfato mono sodico, del fosfato mono amonico y del fosfato mono potasico, utilizando como materias primas: Rocas fosforicas, acido sulfurico, sulfato de sodio, sulfato de amonio, y sulfato de potasio, consiste en tratar dichas rocas con suficiente acido Nitrico para transformar los fosfatos de calcio y el carbonato de calcio insoluble contenidos en las rocas, en nitrato de calcio soluble, en acido fosforico y en fosfato mono calcico soluble.En segundo paso la masa reaccionada se filtra y la solucion resultante se hace reaccionar con una lechada de cal, con el proposito de transformar los fosfatos solubles en fosfato di calcico insoluble, con produccion lateral de nitrato de calcio soluble, los cuales se separa por filtracion y lavado.La solucion de nitrato de calcio formada, se trata con acido sulfurico de 98% con el proposito de transformar todo el nitrato de calcio en acido nitrico y cristales de sulfato de calcio, los cuales se separan del acido nitrico por filtracion y lavado.El acido nitrico formado se recicla al proceso y los cristales de sulfato de calcio se transfieren a un patio para posterior secado y comercializacion.El fosfato di calcico formado es enviado a un secador para su comercializacion, o bien es reaccionado con sulfatos acidos de sodio, de amonio o de potasio, para transformarlo en yeso insoluble y fosfatos solubles: mono amonico o mono potasico los cuales se separan por filtracion.El agua contenida en las soluciones filtradas conteniendo los fosfatos solubles son evaporadas para recuperar los fosfatos en forma de cristales los cuales son secados para su comercializacion.
