Abstract

Herein described is a process and device that facilitates dispensing purified water to a drinking water dispenser, which avoids transporting the heavy demijohns of 19 liters or 20 liters. Said novel manner to dispense purified water warrantees the hygiene thereof since the water that is used in said device is previously packed into plastic bags made of food-grade materials, which are disposable bags. The inventive process consists in: placing the bag with water into an upper container (2); the bag remains attached to the cylindrical wall of said container (2) since both have the same diameter. The container is manually rotated while the bag is attached to the container, thereby causing a rotary descent. The aforementioned movement originates the bag to be torn by a drill (3) located at the upper portion of the bag, the drill penetrating the bag and causing the water to be transferred into the lower container (5) without leaks by means of its orifices (13) and (14), which are connected to the lower cavity of the container (17). The water-dispensing device is ready to dispense water by its faucet (6).
