Abstract

The present invention is related to a dental implant such as a screw-like implant, which is characterized in that it comprises both an outwardly threaded section and a smooth section. The threaded section is cylindrically-shaped having a slightly conical root with a thick initial crest ending in a sharp portion; the smooth section has a natural dental stump shape for which a higher longitudinal recess located at the front portion thereof and a lower recess located at the rear portion of said section are performed, the smooth section further comprising a small semi-spherical-shaped channel for providing more strength to the cement with which the porcelain is retained. In another embodiment of the present invention, the threaded section of the dental implant includes a half threaded longitudinal central cavity to be connected to a displacing smooth portion, which comprises a connector screw having a half threaded body which is previously passed through a conical element including a bore with a thin potion so that said bore is inserted into the smooth portion of the threaded section.
