Abstract
Un método para procesar catalíticamente gases con un contenido alto de oxígeno para reducir emisiones de oxido de nitrogeno utilizando una composicion catalítica que incluye oxido de manganeso y al menos un oxido seleccionado del oxido de celio y el oxido de circonio. Dicha composicion además puede incluir menos un elemento adicional a partir de los grupos VIII, IB, IVB y VB. Dicho método es particularmente adecuado para procesar gases de salida de motores de combustion interna, en especial motores diesel o motores que funcionan de bajo consumo.
