Abstract

Un método para determinar la sensibilidad de por lo menos un microorganismo no parafinofílico a partir de una muestra obtenida de un paciente para un agente antimicrobiano diferente y cantidades predeterminadas del mismo. El método incluye proporcionar por lo menos un recipiente que contiene una solucion acuosa e inocular la solucion con la muestra. El método incluye además colocar dentro del recipiente (i) un portaobjetos recubierto con una fuente de carbono y (ii) una cantidad predeterminada de un agente antimicrobiano que se va a probar. Observando el crecimiento del microorganismo no parafinofílico o la carencia del mismo sobre el portaobjetos, puede determinarse si la cantidad predeterminada del agente antimicrobiano es efectiva para inhibir el crecimiento del microorganismo no parafinofílico sobre el portaobjetos. Se describe también un aparato asociado.
