Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un método y aparato para codificacion de video en donde la informacion de imagen se representa como una pluralidad de pixeles, los pixeles se organizan en bloques, el traslado de pixeles se realiza en informacion de imagen en las fronteras de los bloques, los bloques se codifican y cuantifican por transformada. El traslado de pixeles involucra traslado de pixeles alternos en las fronteras de bloques con pixeles de bloques vecinos encontrados en una direccion predeterminada. La direccion predeterminada puede ser fijada por un sistema o puede aplicarse en base imagen por imagen. En el caso que la direccion predeterminada no es establecida por un sistema, un circuito de traslado de pixeles incluye una clave de traslado en la corriente de bits de salida que se usa por una codificacion para determinar la direccion de traslado de pixeles.
