Abstract
Se describe, en una máquina herramienta, un componente tal como una muela abrasiva, que actua sobre una pieza de trabajo, para formar la ultima en una forma circularmente asimétrica, por ejemplo un muñon de cigüeñal. El movimiento de la muela abrasiva es controlado mediante una señal de control la cual es derivada de las posiciones relativas y las velocidades posicionales teoricas de la muela abrasiva en relacion a la pieza de trabajo. En el curso de por lo menos una revolucion de la pieza de trabajo, las posiciones respectivas de la muela abrasiva en la pieza de trabajo se miden para cada una de una sucesion de posiciones angulares de la pieza de trabajo. Las posiciones medidas son comparadas con las posiciones teoricas correspondientes y los datos indicadores de cualquier diferencia son almacenados y luego son usados para modificar la señal de control durante una revolucion subsecuente de la pieza de trabajo, para compensar cualquiera de las diferencias y reducir mediante esto la mangitud de cualquier error el cual habría resultado de las diferencias medidas de la posicion.
