Abstract
Un proceso para la extraccion de valores de níquel/cobalto a partir de un mineral o concentrado, comprende someter al mineral o concentrado a una oxidacion a presion en la presencia de oxígeno y de una solucion ácida que contiene iones de halogeno y una fuente de iones de bisolfato o sulfato, tales como H2SO4. El proceso también proporciona la extraccion de cobre con níquel y/o cobalto.
