Abstract

Se describen las composiciones microbicidas. Las composiciones comprenden: (a) 2-(Tiocianometiltio)benzotiazol (TCMTB) y (b) un compuesto N-alquilo heterocíclico de la formula (Y). La variable "n" está en el rango de 5 a 17, y el anillo heterocíclico por (1) es un anillo sustituido o no sustituido que tiene cuatro a ocho miembros los componentes (a y b) están presentes en una cantidad combinada efectiva para controlar el crecimiento de al menos un microorganismo. Se describen también los métodos para controlar el crecimiento de microorganismos sobre varios substratos o en sistemas acuosos.
